The Platform of the Young Democrats of Georgia is a document that details our official positions on a variety of issues, from the death penalty to health care in Georgia.  Each year, a special meeting of Young Democrats, the Platform Convention, is convened to evaluate and update the platform to reflect the changing times in which we live.  Amendments approved at the Convention are then voted on at the State YDG Convention; the process of amending the Platform generally lasts for several hours, making a separate meeting vital to ensure that the Platform is amended with due consideration.
