I'm back! Did you miss me? I apologize for missing last week's newsletter. Due to some health circumstances, I could not get it out in time. Speaking of healthcare...I had my first hand experience with trying to get it last week. It's been almost 5 years since I last went to a doctor.With no health insurance offered by my company (and paying on my own not financially feasible) that trip to the ER cost a few grand for the basic bloodwork and tests that were run. |

NEWS
Young, Democrat, and Proud of it! As mentioned in previous newsletters, I live in a deeply conservative area of GA (and the whole U.S. for that matter). The other day, I'm grocery shopping with friends, and one of them is wearing a t-shirt promoting a Democratic gubernatorial candidate. Lo & behold, a lady stops us because she notices his attire. My friend gives me this look like he's about to be criticized for his liberal beliefs and not sure how to handle it in the produce department of Kroger. |
