Letter from the Editor (Jen)
Last week, we celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day across the country, by taking part in the National Day of Service.
Jane Bradsahw, our YDG President, is shown here at the service project in Decatur. Volunteers performed minor home repairs and yard clean-up for seniors in the Oakhurst neighborhood. The particular group above, worked at the home of Mrs. Smith, whose grandson is also in the picture. But, overall, 50+ volunteers took part in the Decatur event.
Also volunteering and pictured above, are Georgia Tech YD's: Kendell Worden, John Koch, Shamus Moran, and Drew Lupton; along withJason Carter, Howard Franklin, and Hayden Brooks.
Great job, everyone!
This is just one of many ways that we can make a difference in the world around us. The difference starts with YOU. So join us and let's take action together.
